Our Day off Yesterday, No Politics, No News Talk, Nothing but Relaxation.

So, we decided yesterday that we needed a break from all the crap that is going on. A break from the destruction of our constitution, first through a shredder, then right into the fire pit. A break from FAUX News channel, a break from internet access, a break from all things political. We just needed to unplug.


Our day off took us on a fairly short trip to the Kennedy Space Center on the East coast of Florida. We left the house about noon and headed East and had a great drive. Really, we had no idea what to expect when we got there but were very excited about seeing the shuttle go up, from about 15 miles out. What an amazing place. We ended up at Space view Park, which as stated earlier, is about 15 miles due west of the launch site.

This park is amazing. The park is a major tribute or memorial to all the past and future astronauts.

This last picture is at the end of the Astronauts Walk of Fame in the park. The clouds were coming in, just about an hour or so before the shuttle was to launch and I turned around where this monument was, right directly behind me, and Saw this, what I thought, looked like an amazing image. The sky appeared to be opening up, right above the monument, into the heavens, almost as an invitation from God to the Space Program. What an unbelievable site, or view. These picture really don't do the experience any justice. You MUST experience it if you get to Florida.

What a fantastic way to unplug...A day off, with my gorgeous, kind, giving, loving, generous wife. I truly LOVE life.

Congress...Lawmakers, or Powerless Pawns of Misdirection?

To date, at the writing of this post, our power hungry President has appointed 31 Czars. As close as I can figure, we have about 2 Czars for every cabinet position. Folks, this is truly scary. A Czar, in American Government, undergoes no Senate confirmation hearings, answers to no-one except the President, and is not subject to any congressional hearings or oversight.

My point is this...looking at the list above, what power does Congress, The Senate and the House of Reps., really have? I mean power that can't be usurped by a "Czar". Remember, a Czar has no oversight and answers to no-one except the President.

So, the House and Senate pass a bill, the Czar, whose power that bill encroaches, ignores the bill and continues to do as told by the President. Congress calls for oversight hearings. Oops, sorry, no oversight hearings for Czars. Executive Privilege is claimed and Congress in overridden. The case goes to the Supreme Court and obviously, the court upholds the Presidents wish as they generally rule with the sitting administration in cases like this.

Now, for the "Powerless Pawns of Misdirection" Question. It is my belief that Congress is being used simply to misdirect our anger. We get so angry at The House Reps and Senators that we forget about the people really running things, making policy and carrying out the orders of the King, I mean the Messiah, nope, darn it, I mean the President. So, has our anger been misdirected?

Now, Is Washington D.C. a city of Lawmakers or Powerless Pawns of Misdirection?

Wake up people, our Constitution is literally being run through a shredder right directly into the fire pit. Not only is Congress' power being undermined but WE THE PEOPLE are being diminished at every tick of the clock. Please, Please, Please, join the 9-12ers, The Tea Party Patriots, the NRA, and any other group you can think of. Call your Senators and House Reps and tell them what you think, what you want, and what you DEMAND as a part of WE THE PEOPLE!!!

Call 202-224-3121, give the operator your zip code, tell them you want your House Reps office and your Senators offices and tell them the country is headed in the wrong direction. Talk to you friends and have them call. Scream, scream at the top of your lungs and wake up the neighbors. We are in serious trouble in this country folks, and if we don't wake up it's going to be too late.

Sarah Palin's Resignation...Calculated Genius or Political Catastophe?

First, I don't believe she actually cares about her political career one way or another, but to answer the above question I think we have to examine what Sarah Palin has in mind for her future. The problem with that though, is that Ms. Palin and her husband are probably the only two who know what her future plans really are. I do think, however, that if we look at who Sarah Palin is, and who she says she serves we can see a long way into the future, and see what she actually has in mind.

Ms. Palin has always pronounced her Faith in God, Her Love for her Family, and Her dedication to the service of Alaska, and Devotion to Country as her religious, moral and political stance. In my humble opinion, that is just exactly what she has in mind for her future, Just follow me here.

First, her faith in God gives her, her moral, undying, love for her family and her faith in God, and love for her family, make it an obligation for her to devote herself to promoting the principles and values that America was founded upon. Actually, I no more believe you can separate one from the other without destroying the person that she is, than you can separate Christ from the Immaculate Conception without destroying the entire foundation of the Christian Faith.

The MSM just does not understand how anyone could profess to put ANYTHING ahead of politics and fame. The fact of the matter is that the pukes in the MSM that claim to know, know nothing. They know nothing that isn't in their world, and Ms. Palin, and the rest of America are in totally different worlds than the East and West coasts of America, which is where the so call or self proclaimed, Main Stream Media resides.

All the above had to be pointed out, in my opinion, to say this. Sarah Palin is going to do whatever will serve Her Lord, Her Family and Her Country the best...In that order. I believe, Ms Palin will work feverishly to support, promote, and advance the conservative movement the best way she knows how, by being Sarah Palin, and in my eyes, that is absolutely the best way to promote the movement. I mean, who better to speak for what we believe. I can think of no-one. I'm not sure that she will claim to be a 9-12er or a Tea Party Patriot but I am positively sure that she will do her best to support the principles and values of those and many organizations like them and the principles and values of our Founding Fathers.

By the way, whether she decides to run for another office or not, who the hell says that less than 1 full term as Governor of Alaska isn't enough to qualify her for a run for higher office. We have a current President, in Barack Obama, who served less than 1 year of a 6 year term as a dirt bag Senator. Besides jumping form dirt bag Senator to President, he never ran a business, Ms. Palin has, he never worked outside politics, Ms. Palin has, and he attended a church full of hate for 20 years, and surrounded himself with Marxist, and Socialists all his life...Sarah Palin didn't!!!

Truck to be Wrapped This Week

My wife and I are at our home this week for some much deserved time off. Well, kinda time of. Actually, I will be working on maintaining the truck for much of the next 14 days and my wife is working in the house, so actually, though we aren't working at our "regular" job, we are actually working.

Besides me working on the truck, I will have the truck at the vinyl printer/installer for our "912 project" theme wrap. I believe you will all be very pleased with the finished product and that you will be proud to be a part of the project. The contractor wants the truck for five full days since it is such a big project and one that demands the utmost attention to detail. After the truck is done on Sunday, there will be a photographer here on Monday to get some professional quality pictures to send out to everyone involved in the project and to post here on this site.

Be sure and check back here often to see the finished product and to see where we are traveling at any given time so that you can come and see the truck when we are in your area. Also, please be sure and sign up to attend the 912dc.org taxpayer protest in Washington D.C.. We will have the truck in the area that week and we hope to see you all there.

Tea Party, Dade City, Florida



My wife and I were blessed enough to be at our home in Dade City today and decided that since we were home we would spend our day off at a local Tea Party gathering. We had a pretty good sized crowd for a community as small as ours. I would guess somewhere in the neighborhood of 300 or so. More important than the size of the crowd though, was the energy and enthusiasm of those that were there. Both the speakers and the attendees were excited to be there, excited to be involved with a grass roots type movement and ready, willing and able to recruit others to help to promote our agenda. I was certainly pleased with the enthusiasm of everyone and when I am home will absolutely be attending any and all meetups that are planned.

I would just like to take a moment and thank the organizers and all the great speakers that we had. They were certainly enthusiastic, even passionate about the cause and the future of our community, our state and our nation. What a pleasant surprise. We hear on every news station, read in every paper, and hear folks talking in, seemingly everywhere we go, about the continuous demise of our country and sometimes it is just nice to be around some people who don't feel so defeated.



I also learned today that a resolution has been written for introduction to the state house declaring state sovereignty. HM 19, written by Ritch Workman, is a resolution regarding the 10th amendment rights in the U.S. Constitution. This is something all Floridians need to get behind. We need to call our local Reps and State Senators and have them get behind this resolution to get is passed and signed by the (tongue in cheek), "illustrious", Governor Crist.

Finally, it was highly invigorating to see so many young people take such an interest in their future. I can only wish I had taken that much of an interest in my future when I was their age. Maybe, just maybe, our government wouldn't be in the state of near socialism that it is in today had I taken as much of an interest as they have.

What is Freedom Worth to You?



Have you ever wondered what happened to the 56 men who signed the Declaration of Independence?

I thought this historical information about the signers of the Declaration
of Independence was very interesting

I received this information in an email this morning from a good friend of mine. I found it interesting, not only for it's historical value , but for the irony of how it applies, or doesn't, to today's America. The fact of the matter is that if these 56 folks and their families had been nearly as purposely apathetic and deliberately ignorant as most Americans are now, we would live in a much different America today.

Read on and see if you think, honestly, deep down, that you would have chosen to sign the Declaration of Independence, knowing your fate ahead of time.


Five signers were captured by the British as traitors, and tortured before

they died.

Twelve had their homes ransacked and burned.

Two lost their sons serving in the Revolutionary Army; another had two sons captured.

Nine of the 56 fought and died from wounds or hardships of the Revolutionary War.

They signed and they pledged their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred

honor. What kind of men were they?

Twenty-four were lawyers and jurists.

Eleven were merchants, nine were farmers and large plantation

owners; men of means, well educated, but they signed the Declaration of

Independence knowing full well that the penalty would be death if they were captured.

Carter Braxton of Virginia, a wealthy planter and trader, saw his ships swept from the seas by the British Navy. He sold his

home and properties to pay his debts, and died in rags.

Thomas McKeam was so hounded by the British that he was forced to move his family

almost constantly. He served in the Congress without pay, and his family

was kept in hiding. His possessions were taken from him, and poverty was his

reward.

Vandals or soldiers looted the properties of Dillery, Hall, Clymer, Walton,

Gwinnett, Heyward, Ruttledge, and Middleton.

At the battle of Yorktown , Thomas Nelson, Jr., noted that the British

General Cornwallis had taken over the Nelson home for his headquarters. He

quietly urged General George Washington to open fire. The home was

destroyed, and Nelson died bankrupt.

Francis Lewis had his home and properties destroyed. The enemy jailed his wife, and she died

within a few months.

John Hart was driven from his wife's bedside as she was dying. Their 13 children fled for their lives.

His fields and his gristmill were laid to waste. For more than a year he lived in forests and caves,

returning home to find his wife dead and his children vanished.

So, take a few minutes while enjoying your 4th of July holiday and silently thank these patriots. It's not much to ask for the price they paid.

Remember: Freedom is Never Free!



These 56 men, and their families, were true patriots. These folks knew, when they signed that document the were not only signing America's Birth Certificate, but that they were also signing their own death certificates along with many of their family member's death certificates.
