Burning the Quran, Building the Mosque, Is there a Difference?

Why in the world would the President of the United states weigh in on the burning of the Quran in Florida by this limelight seeking pastor, Terry Jones of the Dove World Outreach Center in Gainesville FL.

This dirt bag lying miscreant that is our President has done everything but tell The Imam in the Cordoba House controversy that he agrees with what he is doing. All he had to say about that idea was that they have the constitutional right to build the Mosque. He didn't ask the Imam not to build the mosque, he didn't say it was a bad or ill conceived idea, he didn't say anything but that Rauf has the constitutional right to build.

Then, along comes an American, Terry Jones, and no matter how whacked this guy may seem or be, I believe he too has the constitutional right to Burn this book...Not that he should but he does have the right. The President now comes out against this idea, against this pastor and says he should stand down. He didn't say that the pastor has the constitutional right to burn the quran, he simply said it was a bad idea.

Really!!!! Why is it a bad idea for the pastor to to burn the quran in defiance of the Muslim religion being shoved down our throats but the Imam Rauf has the constitutional right to forge ahead with his Cordoba House project, no matter how incendiary?

Well, in my humble, usually less than popular opinion, the President knows that Christians aren't going to cut off heads to stop the Cordoba project and that the hate filled, religiously misguided, intolerant Muslims will do just that to stop or to protest the burning the Quran.

Maybe it's time that Christians stand up and be counted. Maybe it's time that we let these intolerant people of a hateful religious cult that we are tired of them coming here and telling us that WE are the intolerant group. Is it really intolerant to say you disagree or more so to show your disagreement by killing the opposition?

I don't agree with Pastor Terry Jones intention of burning the quran or any other religious symbol of any group for that matter, but I do absolutely believe that we as Christians had better stand up and be heard, regardless of the backlash. The backlash at the second coming of Christ will be far worse for not standing for Christ than being murdered by a group of hateful cultists for burning a book.

Finally, I definitely believe that if the President is going to ask the Pastor Terry Jones to stand down on the burning of the quran, I believe that he should also ask the Imam Rauf to stand down on the building of the Cordoba House as a Temple of Conquer of the Trade Towers. And make no mistake, that is the whole meaning of the Cordoba House Project.

There is just no consistency in this administration. Well, that isn't exactly true. The consistency is in the idea that the administration must do anything they can to make the United States and her Judea Christian populous look weak or intolerant or even abusive and in making all others feel or look like the down trodden or abused.

Wake up Mr President, love America or get the hell out, and that goes for everybody.

Have a Great Day and a Better Tomorrow
