Obama's Religion...Not Muslim, Not Buddhism, Definately Not Christian

I suppose to understand one's religion, we must first understand what "Religion" or being "religious" really means. The best definition I can find is in Miriam Webster's online dictionary. Following are the definitions. Just click the words for the definitions.

Many years ago, I remember a preacher preaching a sermon on religion. I remember the point being that to be religious, one only has to do something, anything, including going to church to Worship God, with devotion and or regularity. The point being that anything can be done religiously.

We've all heard sayings or phrases like, "he goes to the bank religiously on Friday evening", or "I take my health supplements religiously".

This word, like many in our vocabulary, has been morphed into things not necessarily intended for it's original meaning. I'm not nor do I intend to imply here that being religious is not a good thing. I believe it depends on what one is religious about and ones goals and beliefs as to whether or not it is a good religion.

More to the point is to figure out what we believe "O"'s religious beliefs are or what "O" is religious about these days. Following is my observation concerning "O"'s religion.

I believe Barack Obama worships at the alter of power. Power being his only god. I further believe that his only religion is politics. Stay with me here. You see, Obama's ride, or vehicle, to power is politics just as Christianity through Jesus Christ is our, or at least is my ride, or vehicle to God which is who's alter at which I worship.

If we watch Obama, we invariably see that his faith depends on to whom he is speaking. When he speaks to the Muslims, it seams that he likes to talk about his deep rooted Muslim back ground from his father's. When he speaks to a Christian audience, he likes to talk about his Christian mother and how his faith is grounded in Christian beliefs. Though I haven't seen, because I refuse to watch all his speeches, I suspect the same is true at speeches in front of Catholics, Jews, Budists, Etc.

Being not sure whether I've made my point, let me say here, Obama is a panderer. He worships at the alter of politics, meaning whichever god is politically expedient to the audience to whom he is speaking. Pandering is politics. That makes politics Obama's only real religion and power his only god.

Health Care? Judge Them by Their Works

Usually, when one goes for a job interview, their past is researched to find at what level of performance the person performed. Many things are taken into consideration. Length of employment, at each job prior, job performance, attitude, attendance, pay scale and increases, etc.. that being said, let's have a look at the job performance of our U.S. Government and determine whether or not they should be allowed to control 1/6th of the largest economy on earth.

In 1775 the United States Postal Service was created. It was created to stand on it's own. Money derived from revenue to be reused as operating funds. It is said, on the USPS website, that they get no tax dollars to operate, however stamps go up consistently to cover the red ink of the prior years. 235 years later, not much more efficient than 1775 and still broken. I was always fired when I didn't make money for the company in the current year. I didn't get the next year to cover my rior losses. Where's congress? Still on the horse, runnin' the mail.

In 1935 the Social Security Administration was created to start stealing your tax dollars and redistributing them to the folks who didn't work, wouldn't work, wouldn't work hard enough or couldn't seem to save enough for retirement. This started a, now 75 year old, Ponzi Scheme destined to fail when the retired outnumber those contributing. Today,we are about 7 years from the tipping point. Bernie Madoff went to jail for his job performance. Where's congress? Well, they are still at the helm stealing and spending, frivolously, your tax dollars.

F.D.R. has his place in history, on several occasions, but one of the most famous was Fannie Mae. Fannie Mae was created in 1938, during the Great Depression, to make more available, mortgages, to low-income families during the Great Depression. In 1968, the Government converted Fannie Mae to a private, share-holder owned corporation. In 2008, the government bailed out the "private share holder corporation, fired its ceo's, and now owns about 80% in preferred stock against the, hmmmhmmmm, private share holder corporation. Where's congress? 72 years later they are still running the organization into the ground, guaranteeing mortgages, with your stolen tax dollars, that shouldn't be made, for folks who shouldn't have a mortgage and blaming the problem on conservatism.

In 1964, Congress passed the "Economic Opportunity Act" which culminated from Lyndon B. Johnson's, Jan 8, 1964, State of the Union address. This created the Office of Economic Opportunity to steal and re-distribute, locally, your federal tax dollars to combat poverty. Thus, the War on Poverty was declared. 46 years later, the war is still on, it seems to be expanding to a "Global War on Poverty", and we are still losing the war. Those who won't, continue to want, those who do, continue to contribute to those who want and won't. Where's congress? Stealing more tax dollars from those who work, for those who won't. It seems they have found a way to stay in the peoples employ. They'll just fund the ones that won't, with the stolen tax dollars from those who do.<-(I know mother, I ended that one in a prep. so what?)

Another of Lyndon B Johnson's miscarriages was Medicare and Medicaid for the elderly and indigent.Created in 1965 as part of the Social Security Act, and that started us on a downhill roll headed for...well you know. Today, Medicare and Medicaid, have been expanded over the years to cover, poor, indigent, disabled, unwilling, unable, and it's for the children too, through SCHIP. Where's Congress now? 45 years later, still trying to cover more people with less money and stealing more of your tax dollars for funding these intellectually challenged programs.

A replacement for Fannie Mae was created in 1970 in the form of a younger brother, Freddie Mac. It was destined to fail, and that destiny is reached each year.Where's Congress? 40 years later, still funding, with more of your stolen tax money, and still reaching is destiny of failure.

In 1977, Jimmy Carter birthed, from the many subsequent agencies that followed the Atomic Energy Commission after WWII, the Department of Energy. The real purpose of this, as stated by Jimmy himself, was to reduce and eventually eliminate the need for foreign oil. Where's Congress today? Today, that cabinet level department of the United States Government, consists of about 16000 employees, another 93,100 contractors and about 24 billion dollars in funding from your stolen tax dollars. We are no closer to energy independence today than in 1977, as a matter of fact, we import more oil today than ever, all the while, more oil rich land, and sea floor, is discovered in this country, nearly daily.

In 1979, oh yeah, another Carter abomination, the Department of education was created. The department of education was charged with creating programs to generate funds for education and for the enforcement of privacy and civil rights laws...according to Wikipedia. Now, I'm not sure what the enforcement of privacy and civil rights laws has to do with education so I suppose I'll leave that alone. Where's congress today? Though this is supposedly the smallest of the cabinet level departments, it housed about 5000 full time employees in 2007 and has an annual budget of nearly 63 billion dollars and another 97 billion in funding from the ARRA "American Reinvestment and Recovery Act" of 2009. That's 160 billion dollars for the Department of Education, and in 2008 the United States ranked 21st out of 27 industrialized nations for a graduation rate.

The ARRA, "American Reinvestment and Recovery Act of 2009" 787 billion dollars of stolen tax dollars, was to keep the unemployment rate below 8%. That promise was made by Barak Obama. Today, the government reports an unemployment rate of around 10%, yes 2 full points above the promise. But if that isn't bad enough, the realistic number stands at about 17%, when you include those who have given up looking for work, run out of benefits, are working part time(underemployed), and those that have never looked for work on welfare, homeless etc. Where is Congress? They continue to insist that a 2nd stimulus package is needed, more tax dollars for the needy, from the working. They continue to pump your stolen tax dollars into the unemployment benefits program and all that does is encourage the out of work to stay that way. The unemployed, now, can draw nearly 2 years of benefits, at least they can in Illinois.

Lastly, our, America's unfunded Liabilities total about 112 trillion dollars. Unfunded liabilities are entitlements are entitlement programs that have been promised but aren't yet funded. Would you still have a job if you ran a deficit of 112 trillion dollars over what you had money. I would suggest your job would be in jeopardy.

So why all the afore mentioned failures? Again, when we go for a job interview, our past is researched, when we apply for a Concealed Carry permit, our past is scrutinized, If I, as a Commercial Vehicle Driver, apply for a Hazardous Materials endorsement to be added to my license, I am fingerprinted and a background check is performed by the FBI.

Congress has applied for the job of reforming Health Care in the United States, I have given you here, a brief summary of a minuscule number of the many failures of our United States Government. This summary doesn't even touch on absenteeism, pay, attitude, budget overruns etc.. Are you really considering hiring this bunch of incompetent miscreants to overhaul and administer your health care in America?

Obama is a Troop Killer

Obama said going into this Presidency, which he sought, that the Afghanistan war was a war of necessity. He promptly, okay, not so promptly, but he appointed a new General to head up the operations there. HE asked General McChrystal to assess the operations and come up with a strategy to win that war. General McChrystal, true to his nature, done just as was asked of him and came up with a strategy to win and get out. President Obama though, seems to want to second Guess the General that he entrusted with the assignment. He thinks he is smarter about war than a man who has studied war strategy all his life.

Most any police officer or military strategist you hear will always tell you that swift and overwhelming force is what it takes to gain control of most any situation. Just watch around our own country and see how the police forces and first responder garner control over a crowd. Swift and overwhelming force. That type of action shows resolve. It shows you mean business and aren't going to back down but are going to take control. I think this, what this president is doing, the delay of action, the rumored slow steady deployment of 35000 or so troops, the indecisiveness of his actions are treasonous, murderous, and dangerous. I also believe it is demeaning to the troops, I think it is or will cause moral to sink. I mean, why fight if you know the heart and soul of your Commander in Chief isn't one with the mission and with those you are putting in harms way to carry out the mission.

I am of the opinion that if you hire someone to do a job, you generally have trust in the ability of the person you hire. I am also of the very strong opinion that if you are going to fight a war, give the men that are doing the fighting everything they need to win, And let them go to work...killing the bad guys.
All the above being true, why in the world would you take 90+ days to make a decision based on intelligence that tells you troops are and will die if not acted upon quickly?

One reason is because this President is obviously an appeaser. Another, and more likely reason, might be because he hates the troops and for what they stand. He also wants out of Afghanistan. He wants to fulfill his promise to his leftist base. I think he is killing the troops on purpose. I think he is allowing them to be killed so that America will grow more and more weary of the war and just demand we remove our young men and women...at all costs.

I think the President might just as well pick up a gun and start shooting the troops himself. I believe he is that culpable. The problem with that though, is that his hatred towards the military would be far too obvious.

This man is Dangerous for America. Bowing to foreign leaders, cowtowing to the U.N.. Treating terrorists as common criminals rather than terrorists. Jumping to conclusions when it is time to spend trillions of dollars to usurp our liberties but not when it comes time for swift and absolute justice against a known enemy combatant. Jumping to conclusions when it comes time to condemn a police officer for doing his or her job but not to condemn a terrorist to the same resolution.

Murderer, troop killer, treasonous, I think so. We shall see tomorrow night, what the resolve of this president is on this war. We shall see how determined he might be to win. We shall see if he is resolute in his promise to win in Afghanistan. What we shall not see are the faces and names of the Soldiers, Marines, Airmen and Sailors who have died since august 30 when McChrystal submitted his report. I'll also bet we won't see the names of those who died on Thanksgiving day while the "O"'s were celebrating and attending the Basketball game, Where Mrs. "O"'s brother was coaching, rather than a dinner with some of the troops.

God help our young men and women that he continues to place in harms way. Let's just hope that one of them don't give a terrorist a bloody nose. I mean...I'm just sayin'.

Don't Rush to Conclusions But the Debate Is Over and We Must Act Quickly!!!!

I find the inconsistencies in this administration, and this Congress, very troubling at times. We mustn't rush to a conclusion while Russia is invading one of our closest allies, who is Georgia, but we must vote immediately on a 787 billion dollar stimulus plan or the world will come crashing down around our heads. I realize that "O" wasn't our President when Russia invaded Georgia, but he did make a "don't rush to judgment" statement.

We had to act immediately, even so urgently as to stop campaigning and go to Washington to help design, advocate, and vote for the TARP plan, but let's not jump to conclusions when it comes to how to handle the Palestinian/Israel conflicts and while innocent Israelis are being RPG'd at an incredibly rapid pace.

Now let's not rush to an uneducated decision on sending troops to Afghanistan while our troops are dying but we have to act with record speed when it comes to taking over banks, auto manufacturers, the tobacco industry and reforming our regulatory system on Wall street.

We can't rush to judgment when Iran defies every U.N. treaty or resolution that has been passed against them and their nuclear ambitions and while they are sending small arms and bombs into Iraq, again to kill our troops, but we must act NOW on cap and trade, global warming legislation, and the KYOTO Treaty to save the earth and stop global warming, or global climate change, or whatever the flavor of global destruction we have today.

And finally, we can't rush to decisions about a Muslim terrorist killing our young men and women, here, at home, on one of OUR military installations, but we must act right now, there is no time to waste, to spend 1.2+ trillion dollars to usurp our liberties and take over the best health care system in the world and place it under the control of the U.S. Government.

I have a thought here. As if you thought I wouldn't have. As long as the government controls health care, they control who gets health care. As long as they control who gets health care, they can see to it that their lazy, fat a%&, non working, blood sucking voting constituents get the necessary care and avoid caring for those who are less friendly to the administration. I mean, we must act now, right now, to make abortion available to hard working, females who can't afford another baby and make just a little too much to qualify for food stamps but let's give food stamps to the ones who won't work and are staying home with their babies, and continue to pop out kids like a healthy rabbit, they'll vote for our reelection. The more of those we can make, the better our chances of staying in office.

I felt my heart hurt last night when the vote was announced on this health care debacle. We went to Washington in September in mass numbers to let them know that we didn't want this, more folks went again last week on Thursday, still more on Saturday, the House chamber was full of onlookers to see how the debate and impending vote on the bill would go, and still, in an incredible show of arrogance, these power drunk, liberty thieves passed the bill. A bill that was unquestionably rejected by 85+% of Americans. A bill that absolutely robs us of many of our freedoms.

This bill will impose fines of up to $15000.00 if we don't purchase health care insurance at 2.5% of our income and of the policy structure that the government sees fit. If we don't pay the fine we can be imprisoned for up to five years. Now, our prisons are full and bursting at the seems now with drug dealers, illegal alien murderers, and pedophiles. My guess is that since this is a liberal Democrat administration, we will turn loose the "non violent" illegal alien murderers, the pedophiles, and the drug dealers in lieu of imprisonment of the horribly radical, right winged, non fine paying, health care insurance non-purchasers. I mean, who is going to be more friendly to the administration at election time.

I believe this administration, all it's minions, czars, and sheeple, the speaker of the house and Senate Majority Leader are as much a terrorist to our monetary and financial systems, our political structure, our judicial system and our liberties as Freedom Loving Americans as any bomber, shooter, or air plane hijacker that has ever struck the United States of America.

I think NOW is the time to hurry. there is absolutely no time to waste. We must stop these America hating, power drunk, liberty stealing thugs now. This is a true emergency. I think we should all look into recalling our elected officials where our state constitutions provide such a device. Where we aren't afforded that opportunity, I think we must find a way to render them ineffective or powerless. I believe we must research all avenues to stop the terror they are imposing on us as Americans.

Wake up, Stand up, Rise up, and Speak up. Now is the time to be seen and heard America. Above all pray, while we still are allowed, please pray fervently.

Beware of Dinner With Obama...A Parable

While having some minor work done on the truck this morning, I met a fellow patriot at the shop in which we were. Lynn, a manager for a local delivery company, showed a grand Love of Country, and true concern for the direction this administration has taken this Country. Lynn signed our truck, pics to be posted at the 912 Truck blog site when our computer is returned to operating condition and I can return this one to it's rightful owner. I appreciate the use but this thing is a true "piece". Anyway, Lynn was kind enough to forward a story to me and I thought I'd post it here. It follows...

Dinner with Obama, a Parable ......
Once upon a time, I was invited to the White House for a private dinner with the President.
I am a respected businessman, with a factory that produces memory chips for computers and portable electronics.

There was some talk that my industry was being scrutinized by the administration,
but I paid it no mind.

I live in a free country. There's nothing
that the government can do to me if I've broken no laws.
My wealth was earned honestly, and an invitation to dinner with an American President is an honor.

I checked my coat, was greeted by the Chief of Staff,
and joined the President in a yellow dining room.
We sat across from each other at a table draped in white linen.
The Great Seal was embossed on the China. Uniformed staff served our dinner.

The meal was served, and I was startled when my waiter suddenly reached out,
plucked a dinner roll off my plate, and began nibbling it as he walked back to the kitchen.

"Sorry about that," said the President. "Andrew is very hungry."

"I don't appreciate..." I began, but as I looked into the calm brown eyes across from me,
I felt immediately guilty and petty. It was just a dinner roll.
"Of course," I concluded, and reached for my glass.
Before I could, however, another waiter reached forward, took the glass away and swallowed the wine in a single gulp.

"And his brother Eric is very thirsty." said the President I didn't say anything.
The President is testing my compassion, I thought. I will play along.

I don't want to seem unkind.

My plate was whisked away before I had tasted a bite.

"Eric's children are also quite hungry."

With a lurch, I crashed to the floor.

My chair had been pulled out from under me. I stood, brushing myself off angrily,
and watched as it was carried from the room.

"And their grandmother can't stand for long."

I excused myself, smiling outwardly, but inside feeling like a fool.
Obviously I had been invited to the White House to be sport for some game.
I reached for my coat, to find that it had been taken.
I turned back to t he President.

Their grandfather doesn't like the cold."

I wanted to shout- that was my coat!
But again, I looked at the placid smiling face of my host and decided I was being a poor sport.

I spread my hands helplessly and chuckled.
Then I felt my hip pocket and realized my wallet was gone.
I excused myself and walked to a phone on an elegant side table.
I learned shortly that my credit cards had been maxed out, my bank accounts emptied,
my retirement and equity portfolios had vanished, and my wife had been thrown out of our home.

Apparently, the waiters and their families were moving in.
The President hadn't moved or spoken as I learned all this,
but finally I lowered the phone into its cradle and turned to face him.

"Andrew's whole family has made bad financial decisions.
They haven't planned for retirement, and they need a house.. T
hey recently defaulted on a sub-prime mortgage.
I told them they could have your home. They need it more than you do."

My hands were shaking. I felt faint. I stumbled back to the table and knelt on the floor.

The President cheerfully cut his meat, ate his steak and drank his wine..
"By the way," He added, "I have just signed an Executive Order nationalizing your factories.
I'm firing you as head of your business. I'll be operating the firm now for the benefit of all mankind.
There's a whole bunch of Erics and Andrews out there and they can't come to you for jobs groveling like beggars."

I looked up.
The President dropped his spoon into the empty dish which had been his Creme Brulee.
He drained the last drops of his wine.
As the table was cleared, he lit a cigarette and leaned back in his chair.

He stared at me. I clung to the edge of the table as if were a ledge and I were a man hanging over an abyss.
I thought of the years behind me, of the life I had lived.

The life I had earned with a lifetime of work, risk and struggle. Why was I punished?
How had I allowed it to be taken?
What game had I just played ... and lost?

What had I done wrong?

As if answering the unspoken thought,

the President suddenly cocked his head, locked his empty eyes to mine,

and bared a million beautiful white teeth, chuckling wryly as he folded his hands.

"You are a total idiot," he said. "You should have stopped me at the dinner roll..."

Makes you wonder what kind of dinner was served to the Auto Companies, the Insurance Companies, the Drug Companies, the Banks, the Financial Institutions, etc., etc., and who, on the staff may be hungry this time. I also, wonder in a suspicious kind of way, who really got the beer, served at the "beer summit", a few months ago. There are an awful lot of "thirsty, homeless, drunks in D.C.. I mean...I'm just sayin'.

9/11, a day of Service? "O" says so!

Obama has, with the stroke of a pen, made Sept 11 a day of service...with the signing of the "Edward M. Kennedy, Serve America Act". Let's let this lying, liberal lowlife know that as Patriotic Americans, we will ALWAYS remember this as a day of mourning and a day of remembrance for those who died that horrific day. Let this liar know that he can't rewrite history, We The People just will not allow that to happen. Please help in this way...

September 11th, 2009

We have a less than two weeks and counting to get the word out all across this great land and into every community in the United States of America.
THE PROGRAM:
On Friday, September 11th, 2009, an American flag should be displayed outside every home, apartment, office, and store in the United States. Every individual should make it
their duty to display an American flag on this eighth anniversary of one of our country's worst tragedies. We do this to honor those who lost their lives on 9/11, their families, friends and loved ones who continue to endure the pain, and those who today are fighting at home and abroad to preserve our cherished freedoms.

In the days, weeks and months following 9/11, our country was bathed in American flags as citizens mourned the incredible losses and stood shoulder-to-shoulder against terrorism.
Sadly, those flags have all but disappeared. Our patriotism pulled us through
some tough times and it shouldn't take another attack to galvanize us in
solidarity. Our American flag is the fabric of our country and together we can
prevail over terrorism of all kinds
Action Plan:
So, here's what we need you to do .
(1) Forward this email to everyone you know (at least 11 people). Take a moment to think back to how you felt on 9/11 and let those
sentiments guide you.
(2) Fly an American flag of any size on 9/11. Honestly, Americans should fly the flag year-round,
but if you don't, then at least make it a priority on this day.
If you forward this email to least 11 people and each of those people do the same ... you get the
idea.

What the Hell is wrong With O'Reilly

Lat night, after the Obama news conference, Bill O'Reilly came on and I, against my better judgment, continued to listen to faux news. I don't listen to O'Reilly, or Hannity, alot just because they wants to give the impression of impartiality when they definitely are not impartial. While O'reilly is somewhat better than Hannity at hiding his views, they do get exposed in most cases. I don't think O'Reilly is near the partisan hack, cool aid drinker that Hannity is though.

My point though is this. Has O'Reilly gone totally nuts or has he developed the same comatose state of mind that most of the rest of America has? He said last night, confusingly to me, that "O"'s intentions in the health care reform are good but he just doesn't know how to convey that to the American people. What? Good intentions? So the idea of encouraging the elderly to choose hospice over extended life care. That's well intended? Might I suggest that the reality is that Obama doesn't want us to understand the bill rather than not know how to present it to us in a way that we can understand it? We're not stupid O'Reilly, we know what the plan is, and what this president wants...Power, full, unblocked, total control over our lives. I, for one am not up for it and I hope O'Reilly wakes his back side up and sees what "O" is really up to.

The other thing O'Reilly said last night was that everyone knows that when the government buys in bulk they can save money, referring to prescription drugs. Oh, really, you mean like the sliced ham and cheese that they over paid for as shown on the government website a few days ago. That kind of bulk purchases. I think we don't need any more purchases like that myself. Come on Bill, wake up pal!! JMHO

On Hannity, well what can I say? He is just a tool, a political, partisan hack. Funny to watch sometimes though.

Obama Just WILL NOT Answer a Question the Way it is Asked

I didn't get to see the speech on "Health Insurance Reform" last night, however I did listen to it via XM radio. I really think that is a benefit to me, because I can't see body movement, eye twitches or eyes following the teleprompter, and I can't see or usually can't hear who he "O" is calling on for the next question. I think that takes a lot of possible bias out of my opinion. That being said, what the heck are we doing even contemplating a plan being pushed by a President who we know is willing to do whatever it takes to get his agenda through congress?

Last night, the questions were somewhat more challenging to the President but still rather soft when compared to press conferences of past Presidents. Though the questions were a little tougher, there was no followup. Not sure if that was the reporters or the presidents decision but none the less, no followup.

When asked whether Congress and He would abide by the new health bill, he skirted the question on himself by stating that he had the best health care possible with a doctor following himself at all times. As far as congress goes, the President continued, the health care that they have IS much like the one he is proposing in that there is a pool of providers and they can pick from that pool.

He was then asked, by another "reporter" whether or not and what would the sacrifices in health care be for the average citizen, or will there be health care denied to anyone. His non-answer on this one was, Yes, Americans will have to sacrifice the practice of paying for things that don't work or that don't make them better. My feelings on that answer is, if you're terminal, or if you are old and unproductive, no care for you, go home and die peacefully. In fact, the bill says, the elderly will be forced to undergo end of life counseling on the benefits of hospice as opposed to extended life care. Closer to the end of his non-answer on this question, he changed the question, altogether, to say, so will there be changes i n the way health care is delivered in America, yes, that is what "health Insurance Reform" is all about. Changing the way it is delivered to reduce waste, and expense.

When asked about taxes going up he said he would not stand for the brunt of the cost to be put on the shoulders of the middle class. He would support a tax on folks that make over 1 million dollars. Okay, so let's see, the folks that make over a million dollars are the ones who provide jobs to the "middle class". Assuming he is going to tax the crap out of those folks, it would stand to reason that they won't be able to hire as many middle class workers, so isn't that putting the cost of the "o-care" plan on the shoulders of the "middle Class"?

Finally, in his opening remarks he used some terms and some numbers that concern me just a little, okay, not a little ...a lot! He used the number of 47 million without health insurance. Let's look at that number. We have, using the low number, 12 million illegal aliens living here and abusing our system, we hav, as far as the numbers I have heard batted around about 20 million in transition between jobs who will likely have health care when they go back to work. And lastly, that leaves approximately 15 million without health insurance. Some of which choose not to purchase insurance due to a euphoric feeling of invincibility and the rest will be the ones who are legitimately un or under insured. My question is, why are we forcing everyone into his plan, why not just the ones who want and can't afford insurance?

He also said the economy is fixed, no-one is forecasting, or predicting doom and destruction or a collapse of our financial system. You needn't look any further than the report of U.S. embassies be told to purchase local currencies to see that some in the state department are expecting a financial meltdown. Just check financial sources around the internet to get the truth about the financial stability in this country. The stock market is being manipulated to cause a perception of recovery while freight movement, other than food products, has slowed to a crawl. Fixed my butt. We haven't even hit bottom.

In closing, why have we switch terminology from "Health Care Reform" to "Health Insurance Reform"? I contend that the switch is because the administration has ale=ready told you how bad the evil, rich, poor hating insurance companies continue to molest your wallets unabated. This is just another way of making you believe that it is all about the insurance companies causing the problem when in reality, if the government would get their thieving asses out of the medicare business, costs would come down for everyone.

What the??? Where Are All the Unhappy People Hiding...and Why?

Earlier today, I got to thinking about the number of folks in this country and why we can't seem to get more of them to wake up or to get involved politically. I realize that there is a certain number of people that will just never get involved because of lack of interest. There is yet another group, who we really don't want involved, I'll not make a definition of those here, but even if those numbers were as high as 60% combined, which we are led to believe by the last election numbers, with a total U.S. population of 305 million, that leaves 40% or 125 million +/- a few of the population to be politically active. We know that "O" received 53% or about 66.25 million popular votes. So we know those are mostly Die Hard Liberals. We will probably never change MOST of their minds.

Here's the thing though. That leaves about 46% or 59 million "fence sitters", (called so because we know that MOST of those didn't vote for Mccain, they voted AGAINST "O"). So why in the heck are there not rallies of epic proportions in the street on a daily basis?

Compare the above numbers to these. In 2007, according to what stats I can find, approximately 1.31 million folks attend a sports event of some kind every week in this country. Well, I guess that isn't really accurate because that just involves NFL and MLB games which covers about 40 weeks, some of which overlap. So really, if you added in motor sports, hockey, and golf the numbers would be far, far higher.

This is what I am getting at...If we just allowed for the 46% or 59 million who voted for McCain to be in the streets, that would be about 1.13 million, PER WEEK, to be in the streets(59 million divided by 52 weeks). Okay, most of us work, right? So with the unemployment rate at 9.5%(governments lying numbers) that is about 29 million people out of work right now. Certainly, many of those voted for "O", but even if we said the full 53% number applies to the unemployed as well, that would leave 13.3 million people to raise hell or at least march defiantly in the streets of America...WEEKLY! Where the Hell are they?

Why, in the world,are we willing to send our young men and women, oversees to foreign countries, to fight for and die for our freedoms, and we won't even get off our lazy, overfed, credit soaked asses, right here in our own back yards, to raise enough Hell to get a spot on the evening news, or in the Sunday papers. I just DO NOT get it!!

Obama's Measured Silence on Iran...Deafening or Deliberate?

Far be it from me to second guess the decisions made by the President, but I am willing to guess at what the implications of those decisions may be. The President's silence on the political eruption in Iran is one decision that has this writer wondering. As I see it there are two or maybe three possibilities for his relative silence on the issue.

First, He and his administration have decided it best, just like he said, to stay out of it for the most part so as not to be used as a foil in the situation by those in charge. He just doesn't want to give them a reason to blame the United States for the unrest in their country. I mean, if we are seen as an instigator and a lot of Iranians end up dying, as I predict will happen, and the current regime' stays in charge, also as I see happening, then we...The United States, are seen by the people of that country as the cause of the deaths and we are seen by that regime' as instigators and they won't be as likely, in B.O.'s opinion, to come to the table in future negotiations.

Or..., He doesn't want to instigate the uprising any further than he has because he knows that he won't be willing to stand behind those that are revolting. Whether he doesn't want them to succeed or just doesn't want to get involved with helping to put another country back together, who knows, but in my humble opinion, if we aren't going to stand with them through the entire fight and help them when it get's tough then we sure shouldn't encourage a bunch of dissidents to risk life and limb. Certainly though, if we are willing to stand with them in the name of freedom they should know that as well.

Or..., and what I believe may be at the real root of the silence is a "deliberately pointed response" What if Obama sees what is happening there as a prelude to what is coming here. What if his pointed response is just that. He sees the unrest in this country at a near boil and doesn't want to be too terribly harsh on the regime' in Iran because he doesn't know what he may have to do to quash the unrest, revolt, uprising, dissent, and all around dissatisfaction in his own country. He just may not want to be seen as a hypocrite for doing here what they are doing there to silence the distrust.

You have to decide for yourself what you think, I am just here to offer possibilities and opinions. I will tell you though that we are at a boiling point in this country. I see the distrust of this government at an unbelievable high right now and quite honestly I'm not sure why people aren't already marching in the streets. I can assure you though that the time is near in this country for an uprising of astronomical proportions. My wife and I travel an average of 20000 miles per month in the lower 48 states and everywhere we go there is total dissatisfaction. The time is very, very near. I can only pray for peaceful protests rather than a bloody revolt. Whatever happens, God Bless our Great Country.

I just want to know who is doing the "poling" in this country and who the "polers" are calling. I mean...I'm just sayin'.

Barack Obama Is...

I believe President Obama is the smartest, most genius, focused, purposeful, and DANGEROUS President this country has ever seen. I think he knows exactly what to say, and when and how to say it to the American people. I think he knows when people are listening, which people are listening and how to get the people he wants to listen...to listen. I believe he knows what NOT to say, when NOT to say it and precisely how to unsay whatever he might say that he didn't want to. Actually, I believe he never actually makes a mistake by saying something he didn't want to say, but rather puts little leaders or feelers out to see how a given subject might be reacted to and then knows how to redact or unsay or correct whatever may have been "misunderstood" if the reaction wasn't the one for which had had hoped. IMHO, this is exactly who Barack Obama is and what he was trained for. The word "Chameleon" comes to mind?

I believe he knows the constitution word for word , exactly what it says, but far more importantly is that I believe he knows exactly what it DOESN'T say and how to use that to his benefit to force through his agenda and policies. This man truly scares me for America and what she represents...LIBERTY!!!. I believe that if he isn't stopped he will destroy the country as we know it and make it what he and the progressive, liberal machine want, A TOTALLY CONTROLLED SOCIETY/ECONOMY.

In Closing, keep up the good fight, swing when you get an opening, and stay covered up because that right hook is gonna hurt as long as you are watching for the left jab.

I mean...I'm just sayin'.
